Beginner Quilting Class ( Winston )



Learn basic quilt blocks that are used in most all quilting patterns. Blocks made will finish at 12 1/2" and you can use them to make a table runner or table topper, your choice. You will need to have basic knowledge of your machine, thread and tools for quilting as follows:

Material needed: 1 yard of three coordinating fabrics.

Tools needed: (minimum): Machine, thread, 1/4" foot for machine or 1/4" tape, rotary cutter, pins or chips, seam rippers, pencil

Also if you have the following bring them: small travel iron, quilting rulers

We will begin by cutting our fabric and sewing blocks one at a time. There are rulers and cutting mats in the classroom but you will need your own for at home.
