State Stars Paper Piecing Class (Kannapolis)
Using Carol Doak's "60 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars", we will create a new star monthly. We will start with the NC Star and after first class the participants can pick the star they want to create. Unfinished stars are 12.5 and can be used to make a quilt, pillow, wall hanging, or table topper. The book also includes 10 National State Parks blocks for those you visit our parks.
A review of Foundation Paper Piecing will occur at the beginning of each class as needed.

| Requirements: | Paper-piecing pages from pattern book (copied and ready to use), Fabric for star - precut and labeled, Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies. glue stick (Elmers works fine) or fabric glue. rotary cutter: 12-inch or add a quarter inch ruler. Optional: personal cutting mat; personal ironing mat; personal iron. |
