Intermediate Apparel Class: How to put in a Zipper (Winston)

Skill Details: In this class you will learn how to put in a zipper by making a skirt or pair of pants.This is a continuation of the Beginning Apparel Sewing Class. We will be using the skirt and pants pattern from the pattern for the beginner’s class.This class is for adults, and you will need to know how to operate your machine. Minimum of 2 students.
Requirements: Supplies: •Sewing Machine •Thread (to match fabric) •Fabric •Extra machine needles •1- 7” zipper •Fabric Scissors •hook and eye •Paper Scissors •1 and 3/8 yd of ½” wide twill tape •Pin Cushion and Pins •New Look pattern 6217 •Tailor's chalk, disappearing ink pen, etc. •Seam Ripper •Hem Gauge
