| Skill Details: | This class is for adults, and you will need to know how to operate your machine. Supplies sheets will be given at sign up. Pattern: https://simplicity.com/new-look/n6217 |
| Requirements: | Dates: June 20- 10:30-1:30 June 27- 10:30-12:30 and 1:30-4:00 (*You must take the first class to take the second class.) Number of Students: Minimum of 2 Maximum of 8 Cost: $100.00 per person- this includes both classes, it does not include supplies Overview: In this class you will learn the basics of apparel sewing, plus make 2 garments. Details: Class 1 - In the first class we will learn to sew on our machines. You will learn how to follow a line, how to make a seam, press in your seams, zigzag the edges of your fabric and hem a garment by hand. We will be learning to read a pattern, cut out the pattern, how to find your size, and how to choose fabric. Class 2 - In this class, we will make the jacket and shirt from the pattern. |

| Instructor Bio: | Crystal has been sewing for over 50 years! She was taught by her grandmother as a child, who dearly loved to sew. She has taught numerous classes over the years, including classes for 4-H, homeschool groups, churches, afterschool programs, and private classes. Teaching others make something beautiful on the machine, for the first time, is her favorite thing. |
