Log Cabin Wallflower (Concord)



Fabric requirements:
1/8 yard or fat eighth each of 12 different shades of pink, purple and green fabrics ( you can
use other colors for the flowers, just make sure you have light, medium and dark shades of
each color)
1 ¼ yd background and binding fabric
1/3 yd green fabric for grass and stem
Backing and batting – 30” x 60” each
16 - 1 ½ “squares of various yellow fabrics
3 – 2 ½” squares of light green for leaf tips

Creative Grids Log Cabin Trim Tool for 8” x 8” finished blocks
Cutting mat – rotating one, if possible
Finger press
Personal pressing mat and iron
Sewing machine
Neutral thread
Standard cutting ruler

Cut Loose Press – Log Cabin Wallflower Pattern – required

Skill Details: Do you like to make log cabin blocks, but don?t want to make an entire quilt. This is a great little project that uses seven half log cabin blocks made into a really cute wall hanging. You?ll learn how to make this block using the 8 inch Log Cabin Trim Tool and add a curved background piece for a great finishing touch.
